**Chapter 1: A Glimpse of Fate**
It was 3 years ago, on 1st March, the morning of Maha Shivratri, when their paths first crossed. The temple grounds were filled with devotees, the air thick with the scent of incense and the hum of prayers. Yashika, dressed in a pristine white Anarkali with a matching dupatta that flowed gracefully, moved quickly through the crowd. The elegance of her attire was paired perfectly with her traditional gold jumkaas, which caught the light with every movement. The delicate embroidery on her dress shimmered as she hurried through the sea of people, her focus on the rituals she needed to complete.
In the rush of the morning, she didn’t see him coming, and in the bustle, she accidentally bumped into him.
The collision was brief, but enough to make her stumble slightly. As she looked up, her eyes met his—intense, captivating. For a fleeting moment, she was lost in his gaze. There was something magnetic in the way he looked at her, a silent force that pulled her in. Her heart skipped a beat, but just as quickly, she broke the gaze and composed herself. Without another word, she hurried away, unaware that the heart-shaped pendant she always wore had slipped from around her neck, falling silently to the ground.

Abhimanyu Singh Rajvansh, standing tall in a well-fitted royal kurta, his dark hair slightly tousled by the morning breeze, couldn’t help but notice her as she quickly disappeared into the crowd. His gaze lingered not only on her face but also on her attire. The white Anarkali, paired with delicate gold jumkaas that framed her face, gave her an ethereal elegance. His eyes traveled down to her feet, where she wore simple yet graceful juttis that matched the understated beauty of her outfit. The combination was striking, her presence unforgettable.
The impact of their brief encounter was stronger than he expected. Her eyes, her graceful movements, the shimmer of her jewelry—all of it left an impression that wouldn’t fade. The lingering scent of jasmine that clung to the air around her only added to the memory, and he found himself unable to shake it.
His attention was then drawn to the pendant she had left behind. His fingers traced its delicate design before he pocketed it, feeling as though it was a piece of her, something that tied her to him.

Later, back at his mansion, the image of her face and the feeling of being lost in her eyes wouldn’t leave him. He wasn’t the type to obsess over brief encounters, but this... this was different. There was something about her that called to him.
Without wasting any time, he ordered his team to gather every piece of information they could about her. Who was she? Where had she gone?
The search had begun. The pendant, though small, had become a symbol of his growing obsession. And he wasn’t about to rest until he knew everything.
